Hendon have announced former Wealdstone midfielder Michael Corcoran as one of three new signings on the back of Saturday's rain-drenched win at Dunstable.

The ex-Northern Ireland Under-21 captain, who began his career with Cardiff City, will be joined at Silver Jubilee Park next season by full-backs Cameron Currie and James Rogers-Oben, who have both impressed on trial.

Corcoran, 29, spent seven years with Rushden and Diamonds after failing to make the grade in south Wales, and was with National League South side Chelmsford last season.

Hendon boss Gerry McCann said: "I'm really pleased to sign such an experienced player. I'm looking forward to working with Corcs and he will add more strength and nouse to the squad.

"His minutes have only been held up by a quad niggle. The group is really starting to take shape."

Both Currie and Rogers-Oben impressed for the Greens in their 2-0 win at Dunstable on Saturday, where goals from Leo Pedro and Keagan Cole either side of half-time were enough to earn victory.

Currie, aged 18, was at Cockfosters last year and is an attacking left-back, while Rogers-Oben, previously of Molesey, is a wing-back who has also played for Southall and Woking.
