PRIMARY school pupils in St Albans have visited Nicholas Breakspear Secondary School to get tips in such diverse areas as chicken farming and boxing.

Approximately 60 ten-year-olds tried out a range of activities including woodwork, cookery, and bee-keeping at a recent open day at the Catholic comprehensive in Colney Heath Lane.

The school has also run ICT lessons for year five pupils from Holy Family and St Bernadette's, while coaching has helped St Alban and St Stephen become district athletics champions.
