A knife was found in a public park after reports of a gang carrying a weapon.
It was reported that a group of men in their late teens to early twenties had a knife with them in Aberford Park, Borehamwood at 6pm yesterday.
The gang ran from the park when police officers from Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) came to attend the incident, though several people were stopped and searched.
A knife was later found in a nearby road. No one was injured and no arrests have been made.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about it should contact the Borehamwood SNT on 101 quoting reference ISR 579 of August 3.
