Kids are being dared to use their favourite Disney characters as a motivation to keep moving this summer regardless of the weather.

The Shake Ups programme, run by Public Health England’s Change4Life campaign, is challenging children to take part in the 10 minute activities to help them stay active.

The programme is being run with Disney and Sport England to help kids get their 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity they need for healthy development and to maintain a healthy weight.

The initiative will also encourage shakers to spend time away from TV and tablet screens and get some exercise in a fun way.

So whether it’s making waves like Moana, moving as fast as Cars’ Lightning McQueen or letting it go like Elsa and Anna from Frozen, the Shake Ups will engage children’s imagination while also getting them active.

New games will be published on the Shake Ups website each week throughout the summer holidays.
