A violent robbery was caught on CCTV and released by Metropolitan Police in order to track down the culprits.
On August 8 two men, aged 21 and 26, were approached at the junction of Long Lane and Trinity Road by six men wearing balaclavas and armed with knives at around 10.55pm.
The victims were assaulted and had a noxious substance sprayed at them, and a Rolex watch and wallet were taken.
The London Ambulance Service attended them and treated them for bruising and minor burns before being taken to hospital for treatment, but were not seriously injured.
The suspects arrived in a black Ford Galaxy but left on foot.
PC Dan Levy, the investigating officer from Barnet CID, said: "I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed this incident to speak to police.
"We know there were people in Long Lane at around the time of the incident and someone may have seen something significant that could assist our investigation."
There have been no arrests at this stage.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Barnet CID on 0208 733 4510, police on 101 or Tweet @MetCC, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
