This afternoon a TV personality will be hosting a charity pub quiz with a chance to win unique The Simpsons memorabilia.

Comedian Jim Davidson will be hosting the event at The Three Crowns pub in Bushey between 2pm and 6pm.

The quiz, organised by pub regular Royal Navy Commander Stephen Anderson, will be raising money for veteran’s charity Care After Combat, which the game show host is chairman of.

At the event a Simpson’s skateboard signed by Matt Groening will be given as a raffle prize.

Long-time Simpson’s writer Caroline Omine had raffled tickets to her one-woman show at the public memorial held for singing icon George Michael to raise money for the 1st Bushey Scouts.

This raised £502 to repair the scout hut, which was the first stage that George Michael performed in.

The comedian has had to postpone her show, but donated the prize to raffle winner and pub regular Terry Jones.

Mr Jones has chosen to donate the prize so too could go towards raising money for the Scouts.

Tickets are £15 for over 18s only.
