The Mill Hill Autumn Market is set to return to the town centre to welcome the community back from summer holidays.

On September 15-16, Mill Hill town centre will be transformed into a long line of stalls, with a varied selection from street food and artisan foods to crafts and local community groups.

The market is one of the Mill Hill Markets programme, an initiative organised by Mill Hill Neighbourhood Forum and Vibe Market, aiming to increasing footfall to the town centre and vibrancy to the high street.

John Gillett, chair of Mill Hill Neighbourhood Forum, said: "This is just one of the many initiatives we have for Mill Hill, to improve our town centre – do come along and also let us have your ideas for developing Mill Hill.

"We encourage everyone to also pop into shops across the town centre to say hello."

The selection of stores will rival markets seen throughout 2017, including the summer's "On Broadway" market and earlier Italian and French speciality markets, all leading up to the big lights switch-on and Christmas market to be launched at the start of December.

For those concerned about the travel, three hours of free parking are available on Saturdays, while Sundays are free in the ‘pay by phone’ Bunns Lane car park, and many side streets are free to park from 12pm.

Mill Hill Autumn Market, The Broadway, Mill Hill, NW7 3DA. Starts from 11am on September 15-16.
