Waste recycling centres in north London have rebranded to reflect a focus on sustainable energy.
The LondonWaste centres, with one in Summers Lane, Finchley, have changed to LondonEnergy to highlight the company's focus on reuse, recycling and the production of sustainable energy through their centres.
Managing director Peter Sharpe said: "The rapidly developing sustainable energy and secondary resources markets make it an exciting time for LondonEnergy and the communities that we serve.
"We are transforming from a traditional waste management business in to an energy, recycling and resource management business and this rebranding better reflects the current and future activities of the company."
The company provides more than 300 jobs for workers across seven north London boroughs, including Barnet, Haringey and Waltham Forest and handles the waste of more than 1.9 million households in those areas.
