A former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur FC midfielder will unveil a local club's upgraded facilities.
Mick Hazard, who is the Hadley FC first team manager, will open the club's upgraded facilities in Brickfield Lane, Barnet, on October 7.
The project was completed in partnership with the Hadley Disabled Sports Association and Hadley FC, made possible by a £87,461 grant from the Premier League via the Football Stadia Improvement Fun (FSIF).
The facilities include new floodlights, a seated stand for spectators and new pathways and fencing, as well as a car parking area.
Hadley FC plays in the Spartan South Midlands Football League Premier Division, and has been playing in Potters Bar FC's facilities due to the necessary improvement works, which now make their ground meet the requirements for Grade F of the FA National Ground Grading Criteria.
