Have you noticed the weird, sepia-tinted sky combined with a particularly fiery-looking sun today?

As people put forward their favoured theory for what’s causing the strange weather – from impending doom to the remnants of Hurricane Ophelia – we want people to share their best pictures with us.

According to the Met Office, the unusual colour scheme is caused by dust from the Saharan desert.

Ophelia is having her say, however, pulling up this dust and sending it our way to create a truly bizarre sky.
