A campaigning group will be giving activist training for those wanting to fight Brexit.

Best for Britain will be holding a training event, called a "barnstorm", in Barnet to try to teach local Remainers how to fight Brexit effectively.

Best for Britain CEO Eloise Todd said: "Best for Britain are stopping in Barnet to meet local campaigners from all parties and make their case to their MPs Mike Freer, Matthew Offord and Theresa Villers.

"We believe that people across the UK must be able to rely on their MP to reject any deal that does not measure up as best for Britain.

"And if the new deal is not good enough we need to have an option to stay in the EU on the table. No one should have to sign a blank contract."

More than 100 people are scheduled to attend the event, which takes place this evening and is part of the group's UK tour.

The "barnstorm" will take place at Hope Corner Community Centre in Mays Lane, Barnet, on November 29 from 6.45pm.
