An elderly man is in a critical condition after being hit by a car.
Barnet Police were called to Osidge Lane, Barnet, at around 1.18pm to reports of a car hitting a male pedestrian.
The man believed to be in his 80s, was taken by London Air Ambulance to an east London hospital and is in a critical condition.
The driver stopped at the scene and enquiries are underway to locate the man's next of kin.
Road closures are currently in place and Barnet Police are investigating in the area.
There have been no arrests.
