A young diving team have won a prestigious prize.
Young divers, from North London Aquatics, took on championship leaders Amersham Diving Club, among six others, to win the Bill Johnson trophy.
The competition featured five individual competitions for novice to senior divers over four grand prix events.
The divers won by just four points and are now focusing on future competitions with their coaches, Richard Heraty and Justine Green.
Cllr Sury Khatri, a supporter of the club, said: "I am very proud and excited to be working with such a talented group of children who make Barnet proud, and helping the charity North London Aquatics’ goal of rebuilding their beloved diving pool at Copthall."
The club are currently raising money to building the pool by 2019, when their current pool closes.
