A Friern Barnet man has been charged with the murder of a woman in Finsbury Park.

Iuliana Tudos, 22, was discovered in an outbuilding next to the sports pitch Finsbury Park on December 27, having been last seen at around 8pm on Christmas Eve.

Ms Tudos left Camden to visit her friend's home in Enfield on the bus and was due to spend Christmas Day there, but never arrived.

Police believe she may have been attacked on December 24.

Kasim Lewis, 31, of Friern Barnet, was charged with murder on January 2 and will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on January 3.

Friends of Ms Tudos started a crowdfunding campaign in her memory, which met its £4,000 target in 11 hours and is currently at more than £16,500.

On the site friends and strangers paid tribute to the "fun-loving" barmaid, who worked at The World's End in Camden.
