A university is hosting a special drop-in to help pupils applying for higher education.

Middlesex University is holding an extended drop-in session to offer professional advice to those applying for university, ahead of the UCAS deadline on January 15.

The experts will also give guidance on available courses at the university.

Paul Woods, associate director of marketing and recruitment, said: "As the deadline for university undergraduate applications approaches some students in the local area might be feeling under pressure but our friendly advisors are here to help.

"We have extended the hours of the university applications advice session so that students can attend after school.

"These drop-in sessions are open to all local students who might have some final questions about their next steps or are looking for advice about their course choice."

Parents and supporters are also invited to attend.

The support session will be held in the university’s college building in Hendon between 5pm and 7pm on January 10.
