An attempted robbery took place at a frozen yoghurt shop.

Police were called at just after 10pm to Yogopink in The Broadway, Mill Hill, on January 18 to reports of an attempted robbery.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and is currently being held in a north London police station.

He was later further arrested on suspicion of non-residential burglary in relation to the incident.

No items were stolen and enquiries are still ongoing.

This comes after the same shop was robbed at knifepoint on January 11.

In the January 11 incident, police understood a man, whose face was covered, demanded cash and brandished a knife, then made off from the scene.
