The council are hosting a metting to tell reisdents more about a regeneration scheme.

Barnet Council are hosting a drop-in event today (January 31) to give residents the chance to find out more about the £4.5billion Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration, which is their most significant programme.

There will be a short presentation at 5pm and 7pm, with more detail explained about the project by members of the delivery team, who will also be on hand to discuss any issues or concerns.

Those in attendance will also be able to see the plans for the waste transfer system and the rail freight.

The regeneration scheme will see the creation of 7,500 homes, 27,000 jobs, a new high street, an extension to Brent Cross shopping centre, a waste transfer station, pedestrian bridge and a new Thameslink station, named Brent Cross West.

The drop-in takes place today (January 31) at Clayton Crown Hotel, Cricklewood, NW2 3ED, from 4pm until 8.30pm.
