Boxer Anthony Joshua has just set a world record.

The world heavyweight champion teamed up with Lucozade to stage the largest ever Boxercise lesson and make it into the D

They put 541 people through their paces by holding a 30 minute workout session at London's iconic boxing venue, York Hall.

Joshua, who was born in Watford and trained at ABC in Finchley, said: "It’s been really exciting to be part of setting a new Guinness World Records title with Fitwater.

"To get over 500 people taking part in something I’m passionate about is amazing.

"I hope our World Record success inspires more people to get moving and involved in Boxercise.”

The event was also attended and monitored by ten chaperones.

Lucozade staged the event to launch 'Fitwater', electrolyte water made for sporting and exercise.

Lucy Grogut, Head of Lucozade Sport said: “It was fantastic to see so many people sign up for the Lucozade Sport Fitwater event and take part in this World Record attempt.

"AJ is a huge inspiration and to achieve more World Record success is a testament to him as an athlete.”
