A traditional village fete will be coming to the borough to bring music, food and entertainment to children and adults.

Capel Manor College’s Forty Hall Village Farm will host the fair on May 13 and will host a farmer’s market, Punch and Judy and morris dancing.

The farm will be have a market for residents to buy local produce at its new farmers market every second Sunday of the month.

The market is organised by Capel Manor College’s Forty Hall Farm in partnership with The Food Gatherer, an Enfield group that brings local produce and drink to markets in North London.

A farm spokesperson said: “Following on from the success of last year, the Forty Hall Village Fete is back again.

“Bring your neighbours, meet your friends and take some time out to sit, relax and enjoy great street food.

“Forty Hall Farm will be opening its gate for the launch of a brand new monthly farmers market, which will be held every second Sunday of the month from 10am to 3pm.”
