THE Sky's the limit for Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service's new fire investigation dog, CC and his handler Nikki Harvey.
The duo were appeared on Sky's Afternoon Live show with Kay Burley.
A day earlier, Review reporters Angela Knight and Emma Clark filmed an exclusive video of the 19-month-old black Labrador in action at the service's training centre in Stevenage.
CC, who recently took over from his predecessor Browza, will be responsible for assisting with fire investigations across the county and eastern region.
His handler Nikki Harvey said: "It was a shock to be asked to go on Sky News and, although I was very nervous, it was a great opportunity to promote the work that we do. Kay was really keen to have us on the show as she's a dog lover.
"CC was not phased by being in the studio and he was very well behaved. He's generated quite a lot of media interest so I think he is used to it by now."
CC, who was named after his sponsor Computacenter, has been trained to sniff out traces of ignitable liquids such as petrol, paraffin and lighter fluid which can remain present even after the most severe fire.
Presenter Kay Burley, who owns four dogs, was particularly interested in CC's protective boots which are used to guard his feet at scenes of fire.
WIth CC's help, fire investigation officers try to determine the cause and origin of fires - whether deliberate or accidental. CC can only enter a fire scene after a full risk assessment has been carried out to ensure it is safe for him to work.
