Thirty fireman were called to put out a blaze at a disused block of flats in Barnet last night.
Six fire engines tackled the fire, which broke out at the building, in Barnet Road, around 8pm yesterday.
Fire crews from Barnet, Mill Hill, Southgate, Wembley, Finchley and Edmonton took nearly three hours to extinguish the blaze, which damaged the second floor and the roof.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
