POLICE are continuing to investigate the killing of an Albanian man in Golders Green, seven months after his death.
The body of Cima Sogojeva, 27, was found dead after armed police broke into a flat in Highfield Road on a Monday morning last October.
Neighbours had heard gunshots and screaming and it was later confirmed that Mr Sogojeva had died from gunshot wounds.
Police did not find the gunman at the scene but later that month arrested an Albanian man in Reading in connection with the killing.
He was released but has been rearrested on suspicion of money laundering, and is due to return to answer bail in June.
A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police said the investigation into the killing is still "very much active".
The shooting, in the heart of the Jewish community, shocked neighbours and nearby shopkeepers who had been going about their business on an otherwise ordinary Monday morning.
Up to 40 armed police officers had broken into a succession of flats in Caroline Court, in Highfield Road, before eventually finding Mr Sogojeva's body.
