THE Conservatives won both Potters Bar ward seats this afternoon following yesterday's Hertfordshire County Council elections.
Councillor Eddie Roach held his Potters Bar East seat after receiving 2731 votes, beating his Liberal Democrat rival Peter Bonner who received 943 votes.
Labour candidate James Fisher came in third with 466 votes.
Conservative candidate John Usher received 2064 votes to win the Potters Bar West and Shenley ward seat, beating Liberal Democrat candidate George Forrest, with 721 votes, and Labour candidate Pierre-Paul Tengwo with 406 votes.
Voter turnout was 36.5 per cent for Potters Bar East and 37 per cent for Potters Bar West and Shenley ward.
