THE leader of Barnet Council is to host a breakfast meeting for the borough's businessmen and women.
All business rate-payers are invited to the meeting at North London Business Park on Tuesday, July 14.
It is being billed as an opportunity for Councillor Mike Freer to listen to the concerns of business people, and for them to network.
Mr Freer said: "This level of engagement is vital to find out what our residents want.
"Arranging business networking events means that I can meet and discuss issues with sections of the community that may not attend the more conventional meetings that we have held previously."
Mr Freer will also stand as the Conservative parliamentary candidate for Finchley and Golders Green at the next election.
The meeting will run from 7.30am to 9am.
