A FORCEFUL appeal has come from police warning burglary suspects to “surrender now” to avoid friends and family facing prosecution.
Brent police have appealed directly to 15 of their most wanted people in relation to burglaries that have been carried out in north London.
Many of the men are known to have connections with addresses across the city and detectives are keen to trace those known to have links to the Barnet borough.
Vasile Doran, 31, is wanted for a burglary in Wembley and is believed to visit the Cricklewood area as well as Barnet.
Hany Faarah, 20, is last known to have lived in Wembley but is wanted in connection with a burglary in Brook Road, Cricklewood.
Delroy Jackson, 53, is thought to hang around Cricklewood and is wanted by police for a burglary that was carried out in that area of the North Circular Road.
Salmomir Wydra, 35, is wanted on warrant for a burglary that took place in Neasden, but his last know living address was Mount Road, Hendon.
Detectives said they would like to hear from anyone who may know the whereabouts of any of the men.
Detective Inspector Rebecca Reeves, from Brent police Priority Crime Unit, said they are appealing for any residents or businesses who may recognise the faces to come forward.
She said: “I would also like to appeal directly to these men and their families: hand yourself into a police station and stop running.
“Face up to what you’ve done so you can take the first steps to paying your debt to society. My promise to you is that we will treat you fairly.
"If you do not surrender yourself we will continue to look for you. Failing to co-operate may have caused you to lean on friends and relatives to cover for you.
“If my officers establish that any of your friends or relatives knowingly obstruct the police in trying to apprehend you – then we will seek to arrest and prosecute them also.
“Help us to avoid this happening – surrender and allow us to work with you to progress this matter, avoiding as much anguish as possible.”
Anyone with information should contact Brent police Priority Crime Unit in confidence on 07917 067 281 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
