Edgware jobs could go after Ethel Austin is put into administration

A CLOTHES store with an outlet in Edgware has gone into administration for the second time in two years.

Ethel Austin, which has a branch in the Broadwalk Centre, in Station Road, is now being managed by MCR Administrators, who are looking for a buyer for nearly 300 stores across the country.

The administrators have blamed the recession and the bad weather in January, which stopped shoppers getting to stores.

They have not ruled out closures and job losses for the store.
