AN OPTICIAN'S receptionist had her bag stolen after she was distracted at work.
The woman who works at Optikal Opticians in Kemble Parade, Potters Bar, noticed three woman enter her shop at midday on March 4.
Shortly afterwards one of the women began talking on her mobile as a man entered the store and distracted the receptionist claiming he wanted glasses.
Two of the women then left the premises and walked up the High Street.
The man and the other woman also left the store.
The receptionist later discovered that her handbag had been stolen from the back of a door in the store.
