A ROMANIAN man accused of trying to fraudulently take money from his own bank account was given a let-off today after breaching his bail.
Andrei Stan, of The Vale, Golders Green, was hauled before magistrates this morning after failing to report to police under the conditions of his bail.
His defence solicitor told the court he was unable to attend Golders Green Police Station because he had obtained work.
She added the original condition meaning he had to report three times a week between 3pm-6pm were too harsh as they stopped him working.
Mr Stan is accused of trying to use a forged drivers licence to get cash from his own account after his car was sold with all his identity documents in while he was serving a prison sentence.
The conditions of his bail were varied so he could continue to work and he is due to appear at Wood Green Crown Court on June 26 for trial.
