THE findings of a special committee set up to look into the East Barnet gas crisis will be made public tomorrow.
Members of the ad hoc scrutiny panel, the first of its kind set up by Barnet Council, will present their report following a public meeting a fortnight ago.
More than 3,000 homes were left without gas and some without power over the Christmas period after water got into pipes in the East Barnet area.
They are expected to recommend changes to the council's strategy for dealing with such large scale problems, although it is unclear whether they will urge National Grid to give customers extra compensation.
The meeting takes place at Hendon Town Hall in The Burroughs from 7pm tomorrow.
