ABOUT 80 new jobs will be created by a new value chain store opening in Charter Place, Watford. A branch of home and garden retailer, Wilkinson, is due to open its doors in March, filling the hole left by the collapse of Allders last year.
The store will make use of more than 14,000 square feet of retail space in central Watford. Recruitment for key staff at the branch, which will be the company's 265th store, is due to start this month.
New store manager, Tony Kennedy, said: "We would love to hear from people interested in working for one of the fastest growing high street retailers in the country."
