Motorists are warned of major delays after an accident earlier today resulted in the closure of part of the North Circular.
The A406 Eastbound was closed shortly after the accident, which happened just before 2pm, between A1 Falloden Way / Tillingbourne Gardens (Henly's Corner) and B550 Colney Hatch Lane (Colney Hatch Interchange).
Congestion is now stretching back on the A406 to M1 J1 (Staples Corner).
Bus route 232 is on diversion via East Finchley and Muswell Hill along the A1 Falloden Way, Bishops Avenue, A504 Fortis Green and Colney Hatch Lane.
