A MAN has been arrested after he was discovered in possession of 167 cannabis plants in Enfield.
The 52-year-old was arrested for cannabis cultivation and supply after Grange and Enfield Town Safer Neighbourhoods Teams (SNTs) raided a property in Sydney Road on Friday, July 23.
Acting on a tip-off, the team entered the address and recovered the plants, along with a CS gas canister.
The man has been bailed to return in September.
Police Sergeant Arran Thomason, from Grange SNT, said: “As this demonstrates, Grange SNT will continue to act upon any intelligence we receive in order to remove drug use and drug-dealing from our ward, which seriously undermines the quality of life of local residents.”
