THE man accused of murdering his neighbour on his own doorstep made his first appearance at the Old Bailey on Friday.
Trevor Dinnall, 42, of Malham Terrace, appeared at the court via videolink.
He is charged with murdering Malcolm Boxall - who lived opposite him, in Dysons Road, Edmonton - last Monday evening.
Mr Boxall, a former scrap metal worker, was found with stab wounds in his front garden by friends shortly before 8.50pm.
He was later confirmed dead at the Royal London Hospital.
Mr Dinnall is due to submit his plea at the Old Bailey on October 11.
