A GROUP of artists are holding a "magical" fairy themed festival at Forty Hall later this month.

Come Away with the Faeries has been organised by Caroline Young, Rebecca Leggett, Kerrie Bullen and Lynn Saunders to entertain children and help them express their creative talents.

Ms Young, 33, from Ladysmith Road, Enfield, said: "The response has been amazingly positive. I face paint around the borough and mums have been complaining there are not enough arts and crafts classes for kids.

"It seems like Enfield has been waiting for this to be organised.

"This event will be done in the unique way of having a fairy/pixie theme that appeals to the imaginations of children.

"We will provide them with a beautiful environment to explore these imaginations and give them workshops in these areas too."

She added: "This is the sort of event that makes beautiful happy memories that the children will look back on with great love.

"They will never have been in such a magical environment and will gasp in awe with great excitement when they see the pink tents and ribbons in trees as they arrive."

Come Away with the Faeries will take place at Forty Hall, in Forty Hill, from 11am to 4pm on August 29 and 30.

It costs £5 per child and is open to residents of all ages. Parents get in for free.
