A MAN who was killed by a high speed train in Enfield Lock on Monday has been named.

The father of three was 20-year-old Mircea Adam, also known as Bobi Rostas, and was originally from Rochestown, County Cork.

He was killed after the silver Mercedes CLK 230 he was travelling in fled from police and stopped by the Enfield Lock train station level crossing, in Ordnance Road.

The other two men were arrested, but Mr Adam jumped the barrier and was hit by the Stansted Express at around 5.30pm.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other men, aged 21 and 22, have been bailed until September pending further inquiries.

The Met confirmed the Department for Professional Standards has been informed.
