A MAN has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after allegedly setting a dangerous dog on another man in Whetstone.
Unemployed Earl Assamah, 27, of Woodside Park Road, Woodside Park, was charged today following the incident in Greenside Close, on June 25.
It is claimed Mr Assamah beat a man before releasing a pink nosed pit bull on him which left the victim with bite injuries to the inside of his leg.
Police said the charge falls under section 18 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861, where by he unlawfully and maliciously wounded another male with intent to do him grievous bodily harm.
Mr Assamah was released on bail to return to Hendon Magistrates Court on October 12.
