HENDON MP Matthew Offord praised Barnet College after meeting apprentices at the Grahame Park campus in Colindale earlier this month.

The Conservative politician met three students as part of Apprenticeships Week, which aims to promote vocational training, on Friday February 11.

Mr Offord told the three apprentices: “What you've achieved is fantastic, well done and congratulations to all three of you.

“The work the college has been doing in promoting apprenticeships and vocational skills has been excellent.”

Barnet College principal, Marilyn Hawkins said: “Barnet College offers employers help in delivering training to apprentices – and with the Government planning to invest in increasing the number of apprentices we’ll be doing more of that in future years.

“But we also take on apprentices ourselves wherever possible, and I am delighted our local MP was able to come to Grahame Park and meet them for himself.”
