A NEW Post Office will open in New Southgate five years after the old branch closed down, it has been announced.
Heath News, in Bowes Road, will be the new base for the Post Office, serving residents of New Southgate and Arnos Grove.
The old branch shut down in 2006 when the franchise ran out, and the premises has since become a Sainsbury's store.
Post Office Ltd announced yesterday that the new service would be installed at Heath News for a 12-month trial period, following consultation with the public.
