A SECOND man was stabbed at the brothel where a Brazilian was murdered on Saturday and he survived, police revealed.

Information has come through to officers over the last 24 hours of a second victim who left the address, in Watling Avenue, and has not been traced.

Carlos Roberto Oliveria, 27, of Clapham, was knifed inside the building at around 3.50am and died of a single stab wound to the heart at the scene.

The two stabbings were among a whole string of attacks in the Burnt Oak area over the last few weeks, including a stabbing this morning in Horsecroft Road at around 2.15am.

Gun shots were also heard in Grahame Park Estate on Tuesday and firearms officers were deployed, although no weapon was found.

Three independent witnesses called 999 and officers received reports of a small group of men, described as black, with a handgun.

When they were searched no weapon was found.

Faiyaz Aghe, 45, who lives on the estate, said: “I heard shots. Straight away I was on the phone. It was so loud and it sounded near. I just heard shots. I looked out the window but I couldn’t see anyone.”
