A Finchley mum-of-two spent more than four hours creating a 5ft snow cat - and helped clear all her neighbours' drives in the process.
Armed with just a snow shovel, Hilary Luder, of Clifton Avenue, spent much of yesterday building the giant sculpture.
She required so much snow, that she helped clear five driveways and seven paths for her neighbours.
Thanks to her efforts, Ms Luder's neighbours had a snow-free passage to their cars this morning.
Ms Luder said she based the snow giant on her five cats, who sat in her front room modelling for her.
She said: "The snow was brilliantly sticky so it was great for building with.
"Lots of people have taken photos and asked if I am a sculptor. I think they think I’m crazy.
"I’m not a sculptor, I just have a lot of cats."
Ms Luder added: "I got carried away because it was such fun."
The creative housewife had a little help from her 12 and 14 year old sons, but she said, "cats aren’t quite their thing."
She added: "They wanted to build tunnels and igloos, not cats."
Ms Luder suggested that if more snow falls she might try working on a dog or even a reindeer next time.
