Hundreds of people remain without electricity following a widespread power cut in Temple Fortune this morning.
The power failure, which was caused by equipment failure, affected 314 buildings, including residences, from 2.53am.
Power was restored to 150 customers at 9am, but 164 customers in the Cranbourne Gardens, Bridge Lane, Hallswelle Road area, off Finchley Road, remain without power.
UK Power Networks said in a statement that its engineers are working to restore the power supplies.
It added: “We appreciate how difficult it is to be without electricity, particularly in this current cold spell, and apologise to all those affected.”
