A civic service was held in Barnet on Sunday to mark Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee.
The service, at 3pm, in Golders Green Parish Church, in West Heath Drive, was led by representatives of different faith groups.
There were readings by the Bishops of the Church of England and the Roman Catholic Church.
Composer Tim Benjamin debuted a piece of music written especially for the Diamond Jubilee.
Councillors, head teachers and Deputy Lieutenant Martin Russell, the Queen’s representative in the borough all attended the event which ended with a rendition of the national anthem.
