Pedestrian hit by car at A1 Holders Hill Road junction

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car on the A1.
The A1 is closed in both directions after the crash at the junction with Holders Hill Road and Parson Street.
Roads in Hendon are congested as drivers are being diverted away from the incident.
