Three hundred new homes will be built in Barnet after the London Mayor unveiled a £103million housing package this week.
Some 2,700 houses are expected to be built across the capital since the cash was made available through the government’s Get Britain Building campaign.
The borough’s Beaufort Park development was announced as one of the successful bidders assessed by the Homes and Communities Agency.
The news follows an announcement earlier this year that £5million has been allocated for a massive 3,000 home regeneration project in Grahame Park, Colindale.
