Nearly 3,000 homes and businesses in Golders Green suffered a power cut yesterday evening.
At 4.06pm there was a fault on a high voltage underground cable which caused 2,899 energy customers to lose power.
Electricity supplies were restored to 1,603 customers within five minutes, to another 595 at 4.50pm and a further 660 at 5.20pm.
The remaining 41 homes and businesses, which were in the Finchley Road area, had their power restored at 6.20pm.
