Mental health patients celebrate Diamond Jubilee in Edgware

Mental Health patients at Edgware Community Hospital will be celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee on June 7.

Patients and carers will be treated to a barbecue and live band in the Avon Garden of the hospital at 1pm.

This party will round off a week of celebrations, which is being organised for patients of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust.

Oliver Treacy, service director and organiser, said: “This is such a special national occasion, we thought it would be a great opportunity for the trust to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and engage with patients and their carers”.
