Barnet workers earn £11 more per week than other Londoners

Full-time workers in Barnet earn on average £11 more a week than other Londoners, new statistics released by the Office for National Statistics show.

In 2011 the average gross weekly pay for a full-time worker in the borough was £621.40, compared to a London average of £610.20.

The average gross weekly pay for a full-time worker in Great Britain as a whole was £503.10.

However, the statistics also show that male employees in Barnet earn significantly more per hour than their female counterparts.

The average gross weekly pay of a male full-time worker in the borough in 2011 was £672.10 as compared to a female average of £573.40.

This trend was mirrored in the rest of London where the average male weekly wage was £649 and the female equivalent was £569.30.

Especially if there name is Nick Walkley (Barnet Council CEO) on £200,000 a year (paid for by us the taxpayer).
