Full details of the Paralymic Torch Relay route have been released and show that the flame will make a brief appearance in Barnet.
It will enter the borough along Kingsbury Road at 5.42am on August 29.
It will then travel along The Hyde before leaving the borough and heading into Brent.
In contrast to the Olympic Torch Relay, which took 70 days to travel across the UK carried by 8,000 torchbearers, the Paralympic equivalent will be a 24-hour relay by 580 torchbearers along the 92-mile route from Stoke Mandeville to London.
The relay will take in the Beatles' Abbey Road crossing, Lord's Cricket Ground, Piccadilly Circus and Tower Bridge before heading to the Olympic Stadium for the opening ceremony.
