New Manchester United signing Robin van Persie was spotted in Potters Bar yesterday hours before he travelled north to finalise a deal with the club.
The former Arsenal striker had his hair cut at nearby salon Kaos in Darkes Lane, not far from his £1.4million home in Goffs Oak.
Holland international Van Persie, who had one year left on his contract at Arsenal, sealed a £24million move to United months after contract negotiations broke down with the north London club.
