Build your own Spitfire at the RAF Museum in Colindale

The Royal Air Force Museum is giving visitors the chance to take home their own Spitfire.
From today until September 2 the Colindale museum will be giving visitors the opportunity to make and paint a model Spitfire which they can take home for free.
The programme has been launched to celebrate the fact that Airfix bases its range of model aeroplanes on those found in the RAF Museum.
The sessions will take place daily in the museum’s Dermot Boyle Wing from 10am until 1pm and 2pm until 5pm.
